Conduct regular inspections of licensed facilities to verify they meet radiation safety and protection requirements; check of individual exposures of workers,  medical and public exposures to ionizing radiations; apply  enforcement policy and measures on non-authorized activities and facilities, as well noncompliance with radiation safety requirements; enforce disposal rules for radioactive waste; monitor and control the import/export and movement of radioactive sources; maintain a national register of sources.
