Lebanon is member of the IAEA since 1961 and is part of different IAEA conventions such as NPT (1973), CNS (1996), Early Not. (1997), Assistance (1997), VC (1997), PVC (1997), SUPP (1997), CPPNM (1998), CSA-mSQP (2008), JC (2021), P&I (2022); political commitment to the Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive sources (2004) and its two supplements, the guidance on the IERS (2007) and guidance on the MDRS (2020); INSServ mission (2006) followed by INSSP (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2023), IRRS (2009); IPPAS (2019).
